BROW LAMINATION FAQ

Does it hurt?

No, this shouldn’t hurt at all. If you have sensitive skin, you may experience some irritation and redness from the product, but that should go away within minutes.

What is eyebrow lamination exactly?

At the beginning of this multi-step process, a styling lotion is used to relax the hair cuticle so the brow hairs are molded to the sought after brow shape. Next, a fixing lotion is used to structure the brow hairs and set them into their new shape and position. At the end, a keratin serum is combed through the brows, to help hydrate and condition the hairs.

Who is the best candidate for eyebrow lamination?

While eyebrow lamination can be done on most everyone, there are some brows that will fully thrive with this treatment. Those with dark brows who want to keep them full and in-place, and those with light, thin, unruly brows, can really benefit from brow lamination. I, personally, love doing lamination to the brows with an old or new permanent makeup, it adds the volume to the pigmented brows and makes them look more natural, more ''3 D'' .

How long does it take to complete the treatment?

Typically the treatment takes 45 minutes, but application and processing time varies based on the texture on the natural hairs. Before the treatment, your licensed professional will have a consultation with you to discuss the process and your goals.

Should i scrub/ peal my skin before/ after brow tinting procedure?

🌟First if all, avoid pealing or scrubbing the skin area of your eyebrows AFTER you got them tinted.

🌟you should scrub the skin of your eyebrow area The day BEFORE of your tinting procedure, though. This will get the skin prepared properly and remove some of the dead skin cells of the epidermis.

🌟 The cells in the superficial or upper layers of skin, known as the epidermis, are constantly replacing themselves. This process of renewal is basically exfoliation (shedding) of the epidermis.

🌟The tint stays on the very superficial layer of epidermis, which regenerate itself within 7 days approximately.

🌟This applies to oily to combination skin only. If you have a dry skin type- you should avoid any scrubbing or pealing of your facial skin in general.
